Eddie Chaloner Recognised as One of Britain’s 250 Best Doctors in the Tatler Doctor’s Guide 2013

Consultant vascular surgeon Eddie Chaloner has been nominated as one of Britain’s 250 best doctors in the Tatler Doctor’s Guide 2013, as voted by a board of renowned GPs and fellow consultants.

Eddie Chaloner practices at BMI The Blackheath Hospital and Benenden Hospital in Kent, and owns specialist vein removal clinic Radiance Vein Clinic.  After being the first surgeon in London to use the EVLT laser for veins and the first surgeon in the UK to use the revolutionary new ClariVein® treatment, Mr Chaloner has been recognised as the ‘master of delicate thread-vein removal’ on the guide. His strengths, he says, are “precision, attention to detail, and patience.” His procedures are typically minimally invasive and ‘walk in, walk out’, allowing him to treat over 1,000 patients per year. He teaches his innovative varicose vein removal techniques to surgeons from all over the world.

The Tatler Doctor’s Guide is published annually by Tatler Magazine in February and aims to uncover the leading and most skilled consultants in the UK. It includes doctors who stand out for their level of expertise and high reputation in 34 medical areas. Says Chaloner: ‘‘At Radiance Vein Clinic, we constantly strive to get the best outcomes for our patients using the very latest techniques and technology available. To have our effort and achievements recognised by a prestigious National publication is very welcome and we are delighted to be included in the Tatler Guide.”
