The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir Release Charity Single Featuring Mr Eddie Chaloner

Mr Eddie Chaloner, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Radiance Vein Clinic and at University Hospital Lewisham NHS Trust, has been singing for The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir since February 2012, when it was first formed. Since then, the choral group has gone a long way, performing a number of concerts across the UK, including the Brandenburg Choral Festival London 2013.Mr Chaloner and his colleagues at University Hospital Lewisham NHS Trust also appeared on Gareth Malone’s BBC2 show, ‘Sing While You Work’ in Autumn 2012, where they were narrowly beaten in the final by Severn Trent Water from Leicester.

The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir  are releasing a charity single for Christmas.  “A Bridge Over You”  is a mash up of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel and “Fix You” by Coldplay.

The single will be available on iTunes from 9th December, while the CD can now be pre-ordered on the choir’s website. All proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and other local healthcare charities.
